MassKara Festival 2013 Held every 3rd week of October, Bacolod City stands true to its slogan "City of Smiles". That's the name of the dining place. They've run out of the traditional Bacolod dishes by the time we got there but..... Good for us, we ordered the other specialties like this delish squid dish with black rice.

Love this.... a very Ilonggo dish, all veggies.

Went to the MassKara Festival a week before the typhoon hit the islands in central Philippines. Oh, I couldn't even bear to watch the news. Such tragedy. And so soon after an earthquake of 7.2 which left many of our heritage churches in rubbles. Thank you for your thoughts, your concern. Pray with me for my country and countrymen.
