We LOVE turtles by the way. That place is called Apo island. Getting here was pretty straight forward. Turtle heaven and rooster hell
How fabulous that you got to swim with so many turtles, and that you had a camera that could capture it. You've definitely found some sweet spots in the Philippines. Pretty funny though that you said your journey was straight-forward--just a boat and three bus rides! Travel times take on a whole new meaning when you're off the beaten track!

Turtle heaven and rooster hell!!
You definitely caught the essence of our experience with that title. I agree long journeys are not too bad when the destination is worth it. I write this having just waited 8 hours for a nightbus at a station, with the 10 hour journey only just begun. So far dare I say it, but its been good. As with the camera its just an average point and shoot camera, but we have a 'dicapac' casing that allows us to use it in water. Not as good as a go pro, but a okay alternative. Thanks once again Tara.

Thank you, we really are having the time of our lives. The turtles were amazing and Chris's dancing was not half bad. Think his effort made us far more welcomed by the locals here.
