Today I am off to visit another island called Simunul, where apparently an ancient missionary of Islam was buried, Sheikh Makhdum is his name.The first Muslims in the Philippines are said to have arrived at Simunul. scary.
i didnt know it was safe to travel in tawi tawi. this might be good for thrill seekers though. the people sound incredibly hospitable. it doesnt get more "off the beaten path" than this. i admire your courage.

VISIT SIMUNUL
Based on your write up or story about Simunul particularly the Tubig-Indangan or Bohe Indangan hoping that more tourist like you will came to visit Simunul Municipality so that they will explore the culture of Sama Tribe living thereat and tour the marvelous tourist spots. I hope more people will came to Simunul for tourist purposes which they will not repent in spending money after exploring the simunul Island, I can assure them.

The beauty of Simunul
I didn't know that Simunul is a beautiful island.I want to visit the place someday Inshaallah .And i'd like to see the masjed of shiekh makdum and his tomb.i'm happy to see some of the view of simunul.Thanks for posting some of your shots.
