Island boat transfer
This first album is from the day we arrived in the Philippines. These are the images I took during our first day on the island. We decided to leave our resort around noon after a four-hour nap in the morning. La Estrella Beach Resort is located on the northwestern edge of the island. There are several dirt roads and a few paved bits to walk around the island. The island's population is around 4,000 people. 90% of the people walk the island to get from one place to another. Otherwise there are motorscooters and a variety of boats.

During our walk across the island we met people of the island, saw the cemetery, ate lunch on the northeast side of the island at Cabilao Beach Club Resort and enjoyed the warm tropical sunshine. These are the pictures from that day and a few others around that time.

I hope you enjoy these. I will be adding more from Bohol Island, our many snorkeling sessions and a plethora of island flowers and plants.

Until then...
