just a teaser...
i was never an adventurer and had never loved travelling new places until i went to bohol... such beauty is so unsurpassable... the land.. the water.. everything.. i never thought that such beauty exists...

we got to tagbilaran via philippine airlines, we have friends from bohol who had booked us at the Wregent Hotel, nice simple hotel and affordable, we paid 900/ night for a twin room - w/out breakfast - on our first day we just stayed in the hotel and had our dinner outside in a seafood restaurant w/c serves iced tea in a... should i say gigantic glass 😊, they do.

on our second day we rented a van to tour us in the land adventure. we left the hotel by 6am and traveled more than an hour for sagbayan peak, then to the place where you will hike a long stair to get a full beautiful view of the chocolate hills. the view of the chocolate hills was very relieving, especially when you are from a noisy and busy city like manila.

on our way back to tagbilaran we dropped to few more places of attractions such as the man made forest, the

the feeling in here is so so...
long hanging bridge at loboc river, the loboc church - known for its international winning choir - and of course settled at loboc river cruise for a very delectable lunch. afterwhich, had photo op with the famous big eyed small monkey like called tarsiers 😊

from loboc we headed to have a look of a very big python that according to the care takers was caught only from their backyard, then went to the famous old baclayon church then blood compact shrine, hinagdanan cave and lastly to a shop of souvenirs.

on our third day, by 6am we were aboard a boat for whale and dolphin watching between pamilacan and balicasag islands, also called as umbrella islands for according to the boatman the islands look like umbrellas when your looking on them under water.

afterwhich, we landed at balicasag for a sumptous lunch with the natives there and of course the swimming and snorkeling were on the side.

the beaches of bohol, particularly that of the two aforementioned islands were so virginal, white sands and a very very clear water.

a very exhausting but full of enjoyment beyond expectation... would love to be back soon.
