Hiking was fun for a day and a half, climbing in the wet heat by the river and waterfalls. Then I met my two companions for the most of the rest of the trek - Tim from Melbourne and Jules from Oxford. Jules had left the British Army as a Captain 6 months ago and Tim was traveling after quitting his job. As soon as we met we continued together, Tim is a very good cards player who taught me some variants on 500. We heading up into Manang which was very Tibetan and nice and found some great places to stay while talking lots on the trek.
