Well how about that, I got a connection.
Just spent the best part of 2 hours packing and repacking to get my weight right. Had to purchase shoe cramps because of blue ice.
Blue ice, black ice and yellow snow, who would have thought life was so colourful?
Did a tour of Kathmandu today, saw a Hindu funneral which was very interesting. Also found out that on a lot of Hindu temples on the lower part of the roof struts there are erotic carvings to calm the thunder and lightning gods.
Had dinner with Mr Guan, he's our guide for the trek.
The dogs have stopped barking now so will try and get some sleep. Big day tomorrow!!!!!!

Getting it all together
We'll certainly sounds like the challenges are mounting rather than being achieved. I guess now you are learning to deal with weather, pack carrying and trekking. Looking forward to reading your next instalment. Linda
