Chitawan jungle safari tour
After two days sight seeing at Bandipur, we droved to Chitawan by Sutlez Bus. Despite the few hours traffic jam on the way, we reached to chitawan at around 2 pm for Lunch. Late afternoon, local guide took us to Local village tour. Shortly after passing Elephant camp, we saw an one horn Rhino grazing in the bank of Rapti river. It was the result of good controlling of poaching of Rhino. Soon many other groups also gathered there. We spent more than an hour there observing & taking dozens of photo of Rhino. After dinner, we went to local people “Tharu “ culture center to see their cultural performance. It was really energetic as well as beautiful dance with their traditional musical instruments. Next day early morning our program began by Boating in the Rapti river. It was enjoyable time with glimps of Crocodile & beautiful birds in the cool river. Then we did few hours jungle walk and returned back to hotel through Elephant breeding center. At around 3 pm, we began our most exciting program Elephant riding inside the national park. As soon as we entered inside the jungle, we saw a couples of Rhini as we wished. Baby Rhino with mother looked really lovely and attractive as well. Though it was not comfortable to sit four peoples over an elephant back, it was quite fun & exciting moments to encounter with wild animals ( Rhino, Deers, wild boar, langur ect.) and other dozens of elephant carrying peoples. Everyone looked quite happy having fun with nature & wildlife. Then we got back to hotel in the eveing and drove to Kathmandu next day early in the morning.
