This is my over the water bungalow I arrived to Baros Maldives resort in the morning via speedboat.
Luxury 5 star I tell you. They gave me cold wet towels and a drink during my 20 mins ride to the resort. When I finally arrived, management personally came out to greet me, offered me this delicious cold ginger tea and escorted me to my water villa.
When I finally reached my water villa, my luggage was already there and my room attendant explained to me everything in the room. I had a hard time paying attention to what he was saying as I had my eyes towards the balcony overlooking the ocean. When he finally left (which seems like an eternity) I changed into my swimsuit and ran outside, oh man WHAT A VIEW!
I have to say many people wondered why the hell I am alone in this honeymoon resort. But you know what? I don't care!!!! i have traveled alone many times in my life and if I end up in a place where I am on my own and everyone else have a partner, so be it!
Breakfast each morning was 5 star luxury! Service was top

Deep in thougths notch!
I also had the opportunity to go downtown Male to see the Maldivian way of life. It was an interesting trip, and hard to believe the living conditions there compared to the paradise island I was in.
For the next few days, I spent alot of time in my room, sunbathe at the beach and snorkelled, Got a nasty burn but thats going away now.
This Island gave me great privacy and quiet time that I need, no one bothered me. If you have cash, I would recomend for a great R&R downtime.
