Today we had a tour of a Orangutan sanctuary. This is an open air sanctuary for orphaned, injured or captive apes that cannot be immediately let back into the wild. It is a huge place with no fences - quiet amazing. There is a real hierarchy with two dominate males struggling for dominance. The babies were so cute. ... read more
Today we flew from main land Malaysia to Kuching. 900km on a plane with no seat numbers - first in best dressed - a little strange but OK. Kuching is a multi-cultural city with a dramatic past. It is call the city of Cats, and there are monuments to cats everywhere. Had banquet and tried lots of food that we had never tried before.... read more
