Still raining hard the next morning we got a choppy boat ride back to the main land- somehow I managed to sleep. We then got taxis to the Orangutan rehabilitation centre. We went down to watch the first lot of Orangutangs at 11. Ofcourse it was raining but not to hard. There were lots of pigtailed maquaks trying to steal the pupmkin food. At the end the big male came and scared all the females away. Lots of films and photos taken. After lunch we watched a really good film about the rehabilitation programe and then went back to watch the second feeding. This time the male was there from the start and so the others never came down. It was funny when he had a bunch of bannanas in each hand and in each foot. The Maquaks were not bothered by him but if they got in his way he hit them of the platform and they went flying!
In the evening we had a BBQ and some card playing with some Alaskan university students.
