singamata stay
Friend, take it easy. I admit chinese loves to make noise. This shows they are happy going type. No worry they are all friendy and helpful. Join them if you cannot beat them. I am sure you will like to make noise too expecially when you are high with alcohol. Singamata is quite a nice place to stay in view of its close proximity to Jetty and Semporan town. The boat ride is only 10 minutes. Fully agree with you that the food served is lousy. But you can buy from the market in Semporna Town for the kitchen to cook for you. Labour charges are about RM15. Reasonable. I just spent a night there on 18th April 2010. The next day my group went to Kapalai Sipadan Resort. 5 star hotel compared to Singamata which has no star rating but you can sight many many stars at night in the sky. Also agree with you that all staff are friendly except the Chinese lady in charge.
