Today we spent the day exploring the town of Luang Prabang!

Mostly, there were lots of temples...hills with temples and bridges! It was a very pretty place indeed, and is considered as the National Heritage Site of the country.

We had to whizz around pretty fast in order to catch our bus to Vaing Vien that afternoon at 4pm, but we managed to pretty much see everything of interest!

I would have loved to see the waterfalls...tho...time is short!
