Day 79- 81/ 79.- 81. Den (22 - 24 .04. 2008)

Our visa were sadly running out, we have to move, next destination Phongsali.

We had to go through Oudomxay, where we spent one night before heading up north. And what a surprise it started to rain, don't tell me the wet season is starting, it is not due for another month... but why would that surprise us... and surely as it was raining I had the privilege to have my first encounter with leech, while the bus stopped for pee brake... bitch, you not getting piece of me...however I could not kill it as had no means of how.

Arriving at Phongsali, was bit of a climate shock, from such a heat into drizzling and cold. The views must be amazing, but not when the visibility is about 5 meters... Next day we wondered round the town, walked all the way to bus stop to find out when the bus leaves.

In the evening we have played card, and one local guy has joined us, without English or Lao we have explained a game of Joker to him and than he beat us so many times... beginners luck.




Bouzel nase viza vyprachavala, musely jsme pokracovat v jizde, dalsi stanice Phongsali.

Musely jsme pres Oudomxay, kde jsme prespaly a druhy den jely na sever. Jake prekvapeni, zacalo prset, nerikejte ze zacina obdobi destu, ma zacit az pristi mesic,.... ale proc by nas to melo prekvapit, po cine... No a protoze lilo, mela jsem ( Romca) tu cest s prvni pijavici...ludra, ja ti dam me ocucavat... bohuzel jsem nemela nic po ruce abych ji zabil...

Byl to docela sok, prijet z horka najednou do mrholeni a zimy. Vyhled musi byt skvely, ale ne kdyz je viditelnost pouze 5 metru... Na druhy den jsme se prochazely mesteckem, prosly jsme se na autobusak, abychom se "zeptaly" v kolik nam to odjizdi.

Vecer jsme mastily karty, pridal se k nam jeden domorodec, bez anglictiny ci laostiny jsme ho naucily zolika a on nam to poradne natrel...
