Pulled up in an orchard of some description. There were creeks, probably irrigation channels flowing through the whole thing and a constant stream of locals doing their thing. Horses being the main form of transport meant lots of them riding past. The Kyrgs are not too fond of having their photos taken but this guy was more than happy to pose. Their traditional hats are apparently fashionable. Darren would not even give one a go.

We knew we were pushing the end of the 'season to get through China, snow is falling on the passes now so we are feeling it.

This shot was just before he worked out the bank was very slippery and ended up with a splash in the creek

Watching the locals mount by kicking their legs over is impressive, Darren gave me a leg up. Seems this one only spoke Russian which is a problem
