The Shinkansen ride from Tokyo to Kyoto was fun. It's an incredibly smooth ride considering you're on a train reaching speeds of up to 180 mph. It happened to be a gorgeous day and from my window seat I watched town after town blur by. It is intended to burn until the planet is totally disarmed of nuclear weapons.

Through this arch you can see the torch and the A-Bomb Dome

Victims names are housed beneath this arch.

I hope you can read this...

A dedication for the victims to rest in peace and the evil not to be repeated.

This watch still reads the time when the atom bomb wiped out the city at 8:15 AM, August 6, 1945.
