Welcome to Japan, Fukuoka

May 29th 2007Well Welcome to the country of Japan. After a very busy time in Taiwan we are now in the courtry of Japan. It is suppose to be no so busy here because to the # of christians is not very many at all. So I guess we look forward to a slower time in which we can have more interaction with people. It so far has been great to be here.

Doulos at dock
Here is just a pic of our old lady at dock in Japan. The area is small but there is room for lots of visitors to come.

Japan buildings
The arcitecure here in japan is really neat and very nice too see. This I think is just a small shrine of some sort. It was located in the middle of the city. Very cool

Voyage
We had an amzingly smooth voyage from taiwan to Japan. This is just a pic of sunset on night while out at sea

Church visit
One of the first days that we were in port I had the chance to goto a local church for a service. We had lunch with them and this is just a pic of us having lunch, notice we were all sitting on the floor

Again just another lunch time pic at the church we went to visit.

Park visit.
This was a t a small park we found in the city. It was very nice to visit because it was quite and very nice. There were a few Japanese Buildings in the park that looked cool

School visit
We also had the chance to do a program at a school. This school actually was a christian school but the majority of the sudent were not christian. So it was a nice opertunity to do a program for them

Students
This is all the students that we did a program for. We had the chance to talk with some of them and share with them before the next class. It was a nice opertunity for us to share !!

Making friends
For those of you who have read my newletter, this is the girl that we met while lost in the city. She was very nice and we shared with here about the ship and our lives and she came to visit the ship everyday.
