We flew from Thailand to Bali on June 11th and did some sightseeing and diving before finding a bungalow to rent in Ubud. Our place is small but comfy and chock full of Balinese style. Good luck duck

I'm guessing that this ceremonial duck became the ceremonial lunch. At least I hope it did instead of the puppy.

Happy puppy

One of the many cute ones. He got adopted a few days after this photo. BTW, they do home follow ups on all of the adoptions so they know the dogs are doing well. And not being eaten!

Sad puppy

Unfortunately, there are lots of dogs in Bali that look like this. With time, a good diet and meds their hair grows back. However, this poor guy was put down a few days after this pic when it was determined that he had distemper.
