We flew from Thailand to Bali on June 11th and did some sightseeing and diving before finding a bungalow to rent in Ubud. Our place is small but comfy and chock full of Balinese style. I'm guessing that this ceremonial duck became the ceremonial lunch. At least I hope it did instead of the puppy.

This is the house of the American who lives here in Bali. I love this pool and the dynamite view of rice terraces.

One of the many cute ones. He got adopted a few days after this photo. BTW, they do home follow ups on all of the adoptions so they know the dogs are doing well. And not being eaten!

Unfortunately, there are lots of dogs in Bali that look like this. With time, a good diet and meds their hair grows back. However, this poor guy was put down a few days after this pic when it was determined that he had distemper.
