We have had a fun two weeks with Mark and then the arrival of Kaz, Reg and grandchildren Lachy and Mariah. It takes us about 45 minutes to walk where they are staying so that gets us going some days. Sunday night we had dinner on the beach which was nice, then Tuesday after Kaz and Reg went to the dentist for crowns etc we went to the BBQ on the rooftop bar of Upaasha which is always a treat with delicious seafood and meats and there is always a great selection of other foods as well. Been out to Reg and Adele's home a couple of times for dinner and had a wonderful time with them, Noah is growing up and getting fantastic grades at his school, should too with fees at $14,000 US for Grade 3. Lachy and Mariah have had ball, now that bit older they thoroughly enjoyed the white water rafting and then another day over Benoa doing the water sports and of course lots of shopping. Caught up with cousin Lou only the once as they had a bit group of Grahame's family over from South Australia. We had lots of lazy days and long walks
UPAASHA ROOFTOP
Great BBQ prepared by these guys around the area and along the beach. The last few days caught up with the Russell's formerly of Yarraville and now living in Torquay...that was really fun and had a lovely meal at Happy Chappys...they were over in Bali for a cousin's wedding. Had another Sunday Brunch at the Sofitel with Reg, Kaz and kids.....which we all thoroughly enjoyed! Our farwell lunch was a beautiful BBQ at Reg and Adele's...wow was it sensational...some of the best steak we have ever had, along with yummy sausages, chicken....all from a local butcher...yes in Bali! A month has just flown by...before we know it we are Melbourne bound and back to the cold for a few weeks.
