Sorry, we've been a bit bad with the blog updates lately, but we didn't have wifi so we'be got a good excuse! We started to get a bit fed up with Kuta, it's just so young and the sellers are so pushy they really start to get on your nerves! So we went to Seminyak and it's really cool. It's a lot quieter than Kuta and a bit more expensive but it's nice, got some really quirky restaurants and shops. We got a really good deal on a hotel too so we spent a lot of time just chilling out by the pool and going out in the evenings. We've both enjoyed Bali but were looking forward to Kuala Lumpur, meeting Beth and gettin to Thailand!

We met Beth no problems, 45mins after her flight had landed she still hadn't come through but we asked someone and they said it takes over an hour normally. Joe wrongly guesses her 4 times, each time the person turned out to be Asian! Eye sights going in his old age! We spent a few days just having a look round KL, went to Chinatown for some cheap Raybans and watches and had lunch in the skytower looking over the city, then off to Thailand!

We'd got train tickets from KL to Hat Yai on the overnight train, then planned to go to Phuket from there on the bus. Once we got on the train and checked it out we realized that after the 13hour train journey there was a 9 hour bus trip to Phuket so changed out minds and decided to go to Krabi, only a 4 hour bus trip. We got chatting to a couple of people on the train and settled down to sleep about 11ish, I got the top bunk because Joe was practdoubled sleeping with his knees on his chin up there! We'd all got into a pretty decent sleep when a massive bang woke us up....someone had thrown a huge rock through one of the windows while we were moing (they're only small windows on the sleeper trains) and it had smashed. Luckily no one was hurt, but Joe decided he wasnt going to sleep in case something else happened! (didn't last long, he fell asleep before me and beth!) then we were woken up a few hours later because someone had a baby that wouldn't stop crying, and found out it had done a little sick on Beth's bag! Lovely. We finally got to the Malaysian/thai boarded, had to get off the train with all our stuff and get passports checked, then got told the train would be delayed for 3 hours! It was sitting on the platform so we just got on and had a little sleep! We eventually got to Had Yai with no more dramas, got a bus to Krabi and found a room for £4 each! Then the next day we got some boats booked up and came to Railey Beach, where we are now waiting for out boat to Phuket. Gonna do a blog update in a bit once we get to Phuket and give you all the details from the past few days here. Xxx
