Day 8

After spending 3 days in Nawalgarh we set out this morning for Bikaner. It took 5 hours passing through real desert, but surprisingly they do grow a kind of wheat where there is sufficient water from their own wells. It is green green green, so funny to see in such conditions.

We are here for 2 days before moving on to Jodhpur. Tomorrow we have a tour around. One of the places to see is the RAT temple. All those rats......not too sure what to make of that!.

We will also visit our first fort, it's huge. We are also going to visit a camel farm, you can drink their milk and have a ride (50p). We should see some galloping back after a day in the desert.

Sorry to say the weather is still very hot!!
