Udaipur

Took a 5 hr bus that took 8 hrs to get to Udaipur. Road was so bumpy that I literally flew out of my seat and hit my head on the roof!!! Not kidding!! City is beautiful, covered in white washed buildings, narrow lanes, Palaces and Lakes. The Lkae Palace here (5 Star) was used in a Bond movie years ago. The lakes, well, not for swimming. This is India! Everything goes into there! Many beautiful sunsets here though.

We were here when Mumbai was attacked. Kinda scary as not very far away. All we see is Hindi News so unsure of events when they took place. The two hotels hit in Mumbai also have resorts here in Udaipur! Not going to go see them. Our last night here some men put togther a ceremony for those who fell in the attacks.
