Jodhpur's hot, busy, buzzing, but has a great fort and palace (and just as importantly, our little hotel ( the cheapest yet) turned out to have the surprising additions of a swimming pool and huge gardens, otherwise we'd be COMPLETELY insane with the heat by now...)
Three days here and already dreaming of moving on. I like it, but it's huge - takes 30 mins in a rackety, bumpy tuktuk to get anywhere at all - but there are far fewer potholes waiting to ambush you in Jodhpur, so riding along here is a breeze....far less chance of being catapulted out of the vehicle and landing 50 yards down the road than in Jaisalmer!

...at this point, soaked through, and with the water rising too quickly for our liking, we jumped in a tuktuk and got out of the town centre...
