Phils adventure begins again. Woo woo!!! Arrived in
Delhi on the 7th at 11 pm. You literallty feel like
you are being cooked in an oven. It is absolute
chaos. Got screwed over by some taxi guy who
supposedly got lost finding our guest house we
reserved and pulled into a travel agency for
directions. Supposedly he rang our guest house, but
infact what he was doing was ringing his mate to
pretend to be someone at the guest house and told us
it was fully booked, but little did we know. The game
was that they would either try and con us into
spending a lot of money with them to arrange a 2 week
trip with all inclusive hotels and travel, but all we
wanted was a room, we were shattered after 12hrs of
flying. We then got screwed again when we paid $50
for a room for the night because it was the only one
we could get our taxi driver to take us too because
obviously he would get commission.

Anyway, next day we have a little wonder and buy
ourselves a train ticket to Chandigarh up north. Goes
pretty smoothly until we get on the train and realise
our train ticket is for the next night. So we have to
get off and try and change it before the train leaves.
Station manager tells us to go to box 29, we go to
box 29. He tells us go to box 34, we go to box 34.
He tells us to go to box 29, what the bloody hells
going on. We go back to 29, he tells us to come back
at 5 in the morning, so we do. After hours of
negociating and waiting and drinking lots of tea and
coffee all is sorted.

Crazy, smoggy, crowded and hectic city. We were releaved to finally get out.
