Dan's sisters Kathleen and Jennifer are visiting. Kathleen is visiting from London and Jennifer is visiting from California. On Saturday we visited the Lotus Temple, Jantar Mantar, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Delhi Sikh Temple, and Gandhi's place of cremation. Here are more details. Medical tests have confirmed that the entire family is missing the chromosome that governs "reasonable behavior." This family roams about the planet exhibiting unusual and socially suspect behavior.

Lotus Temple, "According to Bahá'í teachings, religious history has unfolded through a series of God's messengers who brought teachings suited for the capacity of the people at their time, and whose fundamental purpose is the same. Bahá'u'lláh is regarded as the most recent, but not final, in a line of messengers that includes Abraham, Buddha, Krishna, Jesus, Muhammad and others." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bah%C3%A1%27%C3%AD_Faith

Jantar Mantar, "The Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II at his then new capital of Jaipur between 1727 and 1733. The observatory consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars in their orbits, ascertaining the declinations of planets, and determining the celestial altitudes and related ephemerides." Each is a fixed and 'focused' tool. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jantar_Mantar_(Jaipur)

Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, "The Lakshmi Narayan Temple or the Birla Temple as it is popularly known enshrines Lord Vishnu - the preserver of the Hindu Trinity. The Temple is one of the major attractions of the capital city - Delhi, and is the first no caste Hindu Temple (built in 1938)." http://www.laxminarayan.blessingsonthenet.com/

Delhi Sikh Temple, Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, "The eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan resided here during his stay in Delhi. During that time, there was a smallpox and cholera epidemic, and Guru Har Krishan helped the suffering by giving aid and fresh water from the well at this house. The water is now revered as having healing properties and is taken by Sikhs throughout the world back to their homes." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurdwara_Bangla_Sahib

Sikh Beliefs, "The Sikh Gurus tell us that our mind and spirit are constantly being attacked by the Five Evils - Kam (Lust), Krodh (Rage), Lobh (Greed), Moh (Attachment) and Ahankar (Ego). A Sikh needs to constantly attack and overcome these five vices.
The Sikh Gurus taught the Sikhs to develop and harness positive human qualities which lead the soul closer to God and away from evil. These are: Sat (Truth); Daya (Compassion); Santokh

Gandhi, Raj Ghat, "Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns perpetually at one end. It is located on the banks of the river Yamuna in Delhi, India." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raj_Ghat
