Recap

Ok, so right now we are in actually not in Delhi. We're soaking up the sun in Goa, but we've had some difficulties with our other site and getting decent internet access has been a mission up north. We've also been a bit short of time cos we've whipped around Kashmir and Rajasthan really quickly and haven't had the chance to sit on the internet. So now we are going to recap our trip so far, but with more photos so you can see what its like a little better. This is especially enjoyable for us today because Pete's camera went walkabout last night but was recovered at a bar on the beach this morning! Get in! So now we have our photos back! yay.

Delhi

So, Delhi is really hectic. When we arrive we are totally blown away by all the people and the culture shock. Its all very exciting but we are a bit nervous/anxious/tired and are not feeling very confident about the next few weeks, especially as we dont even know what we are going to do in India! We go to a travel company to check out whats on offer and decide to go on a tour of north India with them for three weeks. After a day's sightseeing in Delhi we flew off to Kashmir.

Wow! Look how musky the air is. Yummy. Its like a fog and stinks like rotten eggs- not the poo, which is everywhere.

This is the first of many temples we are to see over the next few weeks. Didn't even attempt to get close cos there were thousands of people lining up. (and its not even old!)
