I have had no formal training in photography. When I was 14, my dad gave me his Rolleiflex. And a few books - collection of black & white photographs shot by renowned photographers of the world-war era.
I remember spending hours looking at those wonderful pictures. Where would be the source of light? Why are shadows so captivating? Why do the pictures look so stunning? Can I also make an attempt? Thus began my hobby shooting around light and shadows.

Pune tithe kaay une ! Indeed true to the adage "pune tithe kaay une", there's a lot to be seen in pune. Mr. prakash Bang has compiled these beautifully with equally good photographs. Now when somebody comes visiting we know what all places to take them to.
