from mumbai with love

here i am in india!!!!
there was a slight delay at the airport LAX but finally we were off. i flew with the russian airline Areoflot, now i've come to find out that they have the worst track record out there, but hey i got here! ohh yeah small pet peeve.... when ppl clap when the plane lands, like really ppl, common! hey, maybe they knew the risks involved in that particular airline hmm... the food was ehhhhhggh, the service was void of any warmth or even a smile, talk about a friendly group of ppl.... uh yeahh.... gotta love those warm friendly russians
i met a great couple from san diego on their way to russia to adopt a little boy from a orphanage in siberia. they were absolutely great ppl. i wish them all the luck!!
i got to mumbai via moscow, so now i can say i was in moscow! well, for at least an hour. the airport was surreal. it had small corridors filled with shops on either side and ppl smokin while completely ignoring u when u ask for help, and that's the staff. finally made it to india after a few more bad meals, thanks to my cheap choice of air travel, only to be sittin there waitin for my friend donny to show up on a flight from beijing.
well i bouched from sitting and waiting to searching for a few hours, and no donny!! i end up callin home to california to find out that donny left already and was waiting at the hotel. i was pissed that he just left and here i was waiting and worryin bout him. i hop in a cab and headed off to meet him. great timin too, rush hour just started. 2 hours later after my cabbie horked and spat our way through traffic i arrived at the hotel.
and guess what, there he was! i told him i was pissed and he looked at me puzzled. i told him i had been waitin for him and couldn't believe that he would just ditch me and leave and not wait around. but he said that i was the one late, a whole day late accordin to him.
well, he got his dates mixed up so he actually came a day early, thinkin that it was the right day. dumbass!!! lol so he had already been here for a day wanderin the streets wonderin if we'd ever meet up. hahaha
so here we are, explorin india, or at least right now mumbai.

well we're gonna walk around a bit, but probabily do a whole lot of nothin today. but i'll keep u guys posted

ok ok this just in, i'm the dumbass!!!! i might have been the one to have mixed up the date. i swore today was the 18th, it said it on my itinerary, but according to the local guy sittin next to me here i'm wrong!! wow that never happens!!! HAHAHAHA
