watching the various positions...hmmm
Hi guys,

This time from Kajuraho...the very beautiful and inspirational place..the birth place of kamasutra 😉
we are now almost 3 weeks in India but it seems like 2 months...we have been warned about the place and as soon as we have landed we understood why...I don't mean it in a bad sense...it is just sooo different from anything we have seen before...but now in those three weeks we have fallen in love with the place...the diversity is absolutely staggering and the ever present culture is just overwhelming...I have remembered all of you who have been here already...especially yr remarks in your famous blog Samson 😉
I have now realized it is next to impossible for me to try to catch up the last months and a half of our travel, so I have decided just briefly pick the best from rest of Lao, Thailand and our beginnings from India as I'm very slow typer and it would take me days to go into all the amazing stories we have encountered.
I think I have left u at the story of our trip around the Plateau in Lao....well after that we have made our way all the way up north

to Nong Khiaw and Muong Noi where we have spend almost 2 weeks just relaxing by the river and climbing through countless caves and mountains...it was truly amazing place...with so many traditional celebrations, no motorbikes cars, computers telephones...the place span to life every evening...once for wedding then for Buddha celebration and always drinking local "whiskey" LaoLao, which has probably shorten our life by at least a year 😊...we have really become to love Laos...for the people traditions and mostly the landscapes...well even we did not want to we had to make our way back south to Vientiane so we don't miss our visa to India...our plan was to go to Bangkok and get visa from there to Myanmar ...unfortunately on the 5 of April (our luck...we were there on the 7th😞)..Thailand has change the rules of obtaining the visa on arrival and not only we have been turned down at the boarder we have also lost our money on overnight train all the way to BKK...Later we have found out it was within the power of the officer to let us in but obviously he wanted to show of his power a bit so he made a hassle to send

us back...it was only then we have found out that the river in Myanmar is at very low levels and our planed trip on the boat is not possible that we have decided to go straight to India and risk the Burma during the Monsoon...so this is how we have ended up in Kolkata ahead of our schedule.
And boy as soon as we have arrived at the airport we knew we are here for a treat...many people told us that from India they remember mostly the noise, colors, smells and crowds...it was hard to imagine what exactly they meant by it and it always made me wonder...well now I know...it is like someone has dropped a bomb into your nervous system...and what you end up with is just pure astonishment...it took us probably 2 or three days before we started to get accustomed to this rapid change and after very busy Kolkata (where I have been almost eaten alive by bad bugs...as i had over 120 bites) we have decided to set of towards Gaya and Bodhgaya to visit the many Buddhist temples and famous Buddi tree where Buddha achieved his enlightenment...it is very nice and peaceful town outside

welcome to my living room...do u want tchai
of festival season so we had a unique chance to relax under the tree and inside the temples with maybe another 4 or 5 tourist that were in town with us...we have also collected few seeds from the massive Buddha tree, which shall one day proudly grow in our garden...maybe...

after few days we have moved on to Varanasi probably the holiest place for any hindu...but more about that nexty time...now I shall try to find some photos, which u want to see more than reading through my mumble anyway...

Miss u all guys

tlk 2 u soon
