Hey guys...we are alive and well...well very well actually...we are in McLeod Ganj in India waiting for our window to get into the heart of Himalayas ...there was a huge storm here yesterday and the el. cuts quite often here....so i will have to leave the writing for some other day...but hopefully it will be enough to upload some pics....so check the out and look out for some more updates I hope to be able to do it within next 2 days before we disappear out of the radar again. Hi guys, waiting for our train to Delhi, so here is a little catch up on our en devours. Varanasi is a wonderful city with ever present culture. We have arrived late at night and set of to look for a reasonably priced clean hotel without any bedbugs...this proved to be a challenge as there was a power cut every 10 minutes and the streets near the Ganges are so narrow and resembling very complicated mouse maze. After an hour we have managed to find a beautiful place...they have even reopened the kitchen so we can have a nice meal on the roof of the hotel...when we got up to see the stunning view on the whole city we have noticed about 5 fires burning only 50 meters from our hotel...it did not take long to ... read more

Hi guys, This time from Kajuraho...the very beautiful and inspirational place..the birth place of kamasutra ;) we are now almost 3 weeks in India but it seems like 2 months...we have been warned about the place and as soon as we have landed we understood why...I don't mean it in a bad sense...it is just sooo different from anything we have seen before...but now in those three weeks we have fallen in love with the place...the diversity is absolutely staggering and the ever present culture is just overwhelming...I have remembered all of you who have been here already...especially yr remarks in your famous blog Samson ;) I have now realized it is next to impossible for me to try to catch up the last months and a half of our travel, so I have decided just ... read more

We have arrived only a day after the big clash between the Red shirts and Thai government units and this is what we have seen...the street were already calm and the protests very carying on as before...we have still saw a lot of bricks, granate holls and blood in the roads...just few hundered meters away there were new years celebrations taking place...it shore was a wierd and scary sight... maybe even scarier was when we have learned that on the night some group of drunk tourists joined in the fight by throwing bottles and stones into the crowd enjoying it as if it was a game...there are some very saaad people!... read more

Hey guys...sorry for the long delay...all is fine...we only had some trouble using internet in Cambodia and Lao...it costs a lot of money in many places and the speeds are laughingly slow. But now we are in Bangkok and have about 3 days waiting for our flight to Indian Culcutta...yes slight change of plans...but don't worry all will be explained. Well to pick up from where I left u...so many things happened so many new friends we have met and kilometers we have covered. Sooooo, after Saigon we went, for the second time in our lives to Phnom Penh and were trully astonished to find that the city has changed already within the last year...mainly down to a lot of new development but also there were much less poor people on the streets...at first we thought ... read more

Hi guys from Sigon...yet again. Hiding from 34 degrees C and humidity around 90% I have a little time to update some photos and little about our adventures. I was lucky enough to meet some voulenteers from couple of organizations here in Saigon and they have asked me to cover a foundrasing party for children under 15...tey will be drawing on huge canvas, which will be later sold in big Art gallery in the centre Saigon...this was a good start for my project on voulenteering so we have decided to hang around...the party is on Sunday so it looks like we will move on on monday. Hello everybody, Well after a longer delay moving through smaller villages of central Vietnam here we are in Saigon or as is known by state officials Ho Chi Minh City. Must say it is a bit of a shock for us as we have spend last 3 days swimming in south china sea in Mui Ne beach, but we are ready to explore. After we left Hanoi we made a short way trip to Ninh Binh, which is a small town South of Hanoi...the landscape was absolutely stunning.It is basicaly Halong Bay except not on the sea it self but sea of rice fields. We chose to explore it from the river so we have hired a boat and went on a 2 hour ride through many caves and plentiful ricefields together with hundereds of Vietnamees ... read more

The 1st week setteling Well here we are after 3 days on the boat around Halong Bay finaly an internet connection again! We are now back in Hanoi waiting for bus to Ninh Binh. It was a great week so far....So lets start at the beginning...After about 15 hours in plane and airports we were very much looking forward to get a nice holtel and enjoy some nice local restaurant After our "skilled" hagle with taxi drivers we have decided to take a local bus to the city which have proven to be a good decision as the journey was only 15 min longer for 1/10 of the price and the experience was a bonus....we were expecting something similar to what we have seen in Bangkok but we were soon experiencing the chaos of Hanoi 2 ... read more

Den 1 (9.2.2010) Po jedenacti a pul hodinach v letale jsme nevyspali, ale plni elanu prileteli do ha noi city. U vchodu z letiste jsme odhaneli vtirave ridice taxiku a motorek, coz nebyl snadny ukol. Rozhodli jsme se, ze vyuzijeme hromadne dopravy. Po ujisteni pani ridicky autobusu, ze jsme na spravne autobusove zastavce, jsme se usadili na zemi a cekali. Po dvaceti minutach cekani nam to nedalo a zeptali se mistniho domorodce,zda jsme na spravne zastavce. Starik se "slusnou anglictinou" nam oznamil ze jsme samozrejme uplne na jine zastavce. Pote nas nasmeroval k spravnemu autobusu cislo 17. Po zaplaceni 10 000 D za jizdenky jsme se usadili k okenku mezi mistni domorodce " byli jsme samotni turiste v autobuse" a vyrazili okruh letiste - vsechny vesnicky - Ha Noi.
