Two kids and a lab ( my third kid!)..and pals who will hopefully last a lifetime...
Makes me happy that we have this earth to explore...so much to see..so little time but the willing shall win ..i shall see more of what I haven't...that's a promise I make to myself every morning...
Have seen some of the interesting places in the world and India has so much to offer ---- favorite trips are driving vacations..gimme my 4 wheels, a road and music - the right food for experience at every bend...so if anyone of you want to do a driving trip mebbe part of the world at a time count me in..seriou... full info

The Trek team

Chitkul - a 20 km trek to the Tibet border. The only transport you have is your two legs ....interesting walk by the Baspa

After a good 7 minute struggle, she shines in her glory
Day 3 - Rakcham
This is where we began a trek to trace a route back to the camp - Distance 12 km
Burst of color
The easier part - as you begin the trak you descend into a valley that blooms into a thousand flowers
A Birch forest by a gurgling brook
The change in vegetation is dramatic on this trek
Water!!
Mid way - you cross two glaciers and pristine waterfalls that cut through age old rock surfaces - awesome and humbling
The Baspa
We took a snack break by the Baspa - a river that graduates to one of the mightiest rivers in the subcontinent - The Sutlej.
