The whole village has taken to peaceful protests walking the streets of town with candles each night at dusk in protest of the Human Rights violations happening in China. I'm in awe that people who have had so much violence perpetrated against them can still hold peace in their minds and hearts. I'm humbled and inspired to learn more of how they are able to generate compassion and inner peace in the face of more adversity than I can even really contemplate.
