Goa

Our stay at Goa was rather overshadowed by lots and lots of monsoonal rain. At one time we couldn't leave the place where we were staying (with friends of Pete) to go out and get food. We did brave it a couple of times and got wet right through to every last bit of clothing. Not that bad really as it still wasn't cold.

I would like to go back to Goa out of the monsoon season as I believe the place really comes alive. There are some lovely palm fringed beaches and lots of interesting old buildings in the old part of town.
