These are a few pictures of our first visit to Lantau Island in november 2005. It takes about a 50 minute ride by ferry from the pier of Hong Kong to Discovery Bay. Then take the bus to the manastery Po Lin. It is the largest outside Buddha statue in the world. The surroundings are great, beautiful scenic nature. In the monastery you can eat e perfect vegatarian lunch for about 10 euro's each. This entry is for us a test, because we now try to enter some pictures.
