The girlies of the group
After our last over night Train journey we arrived in Hong Kong. This was our last day and night with the group. So a bit sad also. I must admit me and rach was not in the best of moods as our back packs were way too heavy and Rachels kept coming undone. So after a lot of sweating and swearing we finally made it to the West hotel. Again a really decent hotel. After a quick shower and freshen up we headed out to the shopping district. Rach, Bridge, Lesley and I were left to our own devices in the Ladies Street market, which is amazing shopping for every girls needs. We did notice that Hong Kong is a hell of a lot more expensive than China and you can’t haggle as much. I think we ended up spending about 4 hours in the market. It was very nice spending money that you know you should not. At 8pm the group meet up for our last meal together, so everyone was a little more dressed up than usual. We went to Temple Street Market. It is a seafood and fish night market. We sat out side on some plastic stalls

The whole group
and dined like kings on the biggest crabs, shrimp, oysters, muscles and lots of other delicious things (and beer). The whole lot came to only 10 quid. Full and ready for the night we went to the Avenue of the Stars on the river to see the skyline. It was ok. I myself am not really into looking at modern buildings but it was ok. There we said good bye to most of the group, very sad. The few of us that was left set off on a mission to find a bar. We bumped straight into an Irish bar and went to sit down, but we got harassed by the biggest, ugliest and butch woman you can ever imagine, we told her to go do one and we left. Finding another bar was a bit more difficult. In the end we settled for a bar but the drinks we, like, 6 quid a pop so we only had one. Me, Rach, Paul and Erin went back to our room with a few beers after we had said bye to everyone. Erin was the next to leave. Bye Erin. But we ended up staying up untill 4.30am to see Kenton

Rach, Paul and I set off to look for somewhere cheap to stay in Hong Kong as still had two nights left. We managed to find a hostel in the Mirador Mansions. It was a dive I aint gonna lie. But it was 7 quid a night. The rest of Hong Kong was just a chill really. Oh yeah we saw the light show which is the most, if not the cheeseiest thing I have ever seen in my life. It was terrible. Basically you are at the River side and all the buildings start lighting up like they are doing some kind of dance. It is Cringe worthy. Really!!! That night we said goodbye to Marie, Bridge and Kim. BOO. That was the end of Tour time in China and Hong Kong. Oh yeah we went to Disney land as well.
