A spectacular view from our ride on the cable car to Ocean Park We woke up really early this morning to get ready for another big day out. This time we were heading to the other side of Hong Kong Island to visit a theme park called 'Ocean Park'. We took the ferry across Victoria Harbor and jumped on a bus which took us directly to Ocean Park. It was an interesting drive, the roads here are all over the place, weaving in and out of buildings and tunnels. When we arrived though it was pretty quiet, we bought tickets and took the huge chair lift across the Island to the theme park. The chair lift was huge, it went for ages, but we didn't mind because the views were fantastic. Eventually we arrived at the main section of the theme park after a good 10-15 minutes on the chair lift. We walked to the far end of the park where we would start and slowly make our way back. The seal enclosure was first, which was ok, but nothing we hadn't seen before so we moved on and made our way to the bird aviary which again was interesting but nothing we hadn't seen. It wasn't the most exciting theme park I had

View of the rollercoaster from the Ferris Wheel been to but we hadn't yet had a chance to go on any of the rides.
Hannah wasn't feeling great today so when it was finally time for some excitement she wasn't up for anything too intense, which pretty much meant, no rides at all. Instead we had a healthy lunch at McDonalds which made both of us feel much better then Hannah decided she have a go at the Ferris Wheel. It wasn’t too bad, the views were quite good but the crazy rollercoaster below took most of my attention, I really wanted to go on it. Afterwards we went on the swing chairs, then finally Hannah was ready to try out the rollercoaster. After a very short queue we were strapped in and off it went, plenty of corkscrews and loops to make it a very decent rollercoaster. Next we made for the aquarium which didn't look particularly interesting but once we entered I was shocked. It was great, and had possibly the single biggest tank I’d ever seen. Eventually when we left the aquarium we both decided that we'd had enough walking and made back to the chair lift for another breathtaking ride back down to

Beautiful view from Ocean Park, a rollercoaster runs across the side of the cliff. the lower section. But before we left there was one thing that we just had to see, the Panda Bear enclosure. I had never seen one before in real life and they didn't disappoint, they were so fun to watch, wondering around their enclosures eating bamboo. I went crazy taking photos trying to get the cutest photo I could, plus it was air-conditioned inside so it was good to escape the humidity for a while.
Soon enough we left Ocean Park to catch the bus back into the city and back to hotel for a rest. This evening we watched the 8PM sound & light show from our room, which we both thought was more impressive than watching it from the boat. We walked back to the lookout where I took some amazing photos of the stunning skyline then went to checkout a bar recommended to us by Hannah's parents called Felix. It was located on the top floor on one of the most expensive hotels in Hong Kong, the Peninsula. We had a few drinks while we admired the view, however I was told that I simply must checkout the men’s bathroom. As I walked in a guy

A cute Panda Bear wondering around his enclosure. welcomed me in and showed me to the urinal which stood overlooking floor to ceiling windows with an amazing view of Hong Kong city. It was a strange experience, admiring the beautiful view while I relieved myself, it was great. We finished up our drinks then headed back to the hotel to sleep. Tomorrow was our last day in Asia.
