mmmm the 1st munch in HK So Thursday morning (1st March 2012) arrived, and as per, was stressed out my box. Had about 4 hours sleep because of fecking apple and the difficulties they make for me when i try to add all of my favourite music to my ipod, never even got all of my favourite schwesters tunes added, never mind i will hopefully try in OZ without deleting all thats on there already. Why can't it just be simple???
So after everything i was to do today had been done, i set off with my mum, granny j and wee munch bunch to the airport in plenty of time to be relaxed and sit and have one final farewell drink with mine and Graeme's family. Munch bunch gabbed the full way to the airport, telling me he was going to the Sydney Harbour bridge and that he was going to hang out at the airport with his aunty wowa. He is just the cutest wee guy, really not looking forward to saying bye to him.
When we arrived in Glasgow airport i thought i would check with the check-in desk what time we should check-in at as 'go to gate' was already showing

my favourite ever beef noddles on the airport flight screens. The girl told me due to the heavy fog in London many flights had been delayed however because we had a connecting flight from London to Hong Kong, our flight had been brought forward to leave at 6pm instead of our scheduled time of 6.50pm, causing me to go into a blind panic. Graeme wasn't even at the airport yet and SJ, my aunty Carol, uncle Jim and wee g weren't going to be there until 5.30pm!!! I had been told they will be boarding the plane around this time, feck feck feck!!! 😞 😞
I called rank bank to find out where he was and he wouldnt be at Glasgow until about 4.30pmish. When he arrived we were all stressed out our boxes, we checked-in and were told that we had to go to departures immediately.
Never got to say our relaxed goodbyes and have out proper shot (courtesy of aunty helen) to toast our adventure, instead it was all so rushed and not a very nice experience. Never even got to say goodbye to SJ, carol, jim and greg. When i last seen SJ, she dropped me off at my mums

yummy food from a street vendor and we just said see you at the airport later. (not sure though if it was maybe a blessing in disguise at it may have been alot harder to say goodbye to everyone if we had longer to do it). SJ, em pem, odhran and youngy will be upside down with us soon so thats happy days.
The flight to London was ok, very quick but the flight to HK was a total crappy. Never got a good sleep and every time i fell asleep i thought I had been sleeping for hours when it was actaully only 30 mins or so, grrrrr!!
Anyways, we landed safe and sound in HK and headed to our hostel, pretty daunting to be honest but once we were in it was sound.....basic, cheap and reaked of shite (pretty much the state me and graeme were in, total reak box, haha!!) haha....
We went out for a munch and i took graeme to a wee street noodle bar for the best beef noodles in HK, they are everything i remembered and more, mmmm. We wandered around for a wee while to find our bearings and so graeme could experience HK at

yummy food from a street vendor night. Since i am with rank bank (the human garbage disposal) we stopped at a wee street vendor for MORE food, we munched on some yummy meat sticks - beef and chicken - and had some slimey noodle thing which was yum for the first couple and then we wnated to hit a whitey with the rest so we binned them, a good wee munch all in all.
After we finished stuffing our faces, we popped into a cool wee bar for a pint.......7 pints later we had befriended a really nice german millionnaire (who very kindly paid for ALL of our beers....result) and then drank flaming lamborghini's with some local chinese boys. So you get the jist of a flaming lamborghini, none of the guys we were with had ever tried one and described them with a health warning. Needless to say the rest is a blur.......astounded how we woke up the next morning in our hostel, eeek. The nice and caring smelly arse rankin sent me out for noodles so he could get a couple hours kip to himself, what a lovely guy!!!
