Georgia and Friends
Georgia in the window seat of her room in the Midlevels Life in the Midlevels offered delightful views of Hong Kong's skyline. We went to Jo's (featured in the photos lying across her guests!) for a few drinks to welcome Andrea and Paul to Hong Kong. Drinking is a fine way to make people feel at home. It is also a pretty decent way to celebrate Simone's birthday, especially when dining at the Peak with stunning views across the city and Victoria Harbour.
Having had enough of my company, Simone and Georgia went to Australia for a few weeks. There are no photos of Hong Kong from this period, as it is too sad, but there are many recording the happy time S&G had in Melbourne!
While Simone and Georgia were away, I moved house. We traded living on the doorstep of a fascinating Bladerunner type of city, for a townhouse by the beach in Stanley on the southside of Hong Kong Island. Our new place is beaut, with lovely sea views, and is close to the beach and an interesting market and some decent restaurants. There's also a pool and tennis court, and happily, the weather is swimming weather.
When Simone and Georgia returned, they had with them
Simone's friend Jenn, and Georgia's friend Zoe. The house came alive with the delightful sounds of animated chatter and laughter. Geogia and Zoe were too cute together.
