Suzhou was amazing. Superman Tom booked us a few days there for my birthday. We stayed in the older more tourist-oriented area on pingjianglu with cobbled streets full of tea shops and canals (we even got serenaded whilst punting!). This was a quick meal in a restaurant on Baita Dong Lu - there are loads all next to each other and unfortunately I can't remember the name of this one

Tom's favourite, but a bit oily for me. It's soft tofu in a spicy sauce and is always really cheap - about 5rmb/50p usually

Nothing special about these, but look at the size of them! They cost 6rmb/60p. Couldn't get them from bowl to bowl, even with me standing up and pulling with my arms up at full stretch. We ended up doing it lady of the tramp stylee.
