Today was the first day in the other apartment, first sleep went well, starting to unpack my backs to make it feel like home. Volunteering at the school has been slow, soon it will pick up and I will be expected to help out more. I have met lots of nice people here, apparently I have met most foreigners that reside in the city, there is only about 40 or so I think I was told. Most have only been here 6 months or so, but already can speak the language quite well. Tyler's trying to help me learn the language, its a uphill climb, but a necessary one. The weather is so hot that you start to sweat the instant you leave a A/C'd building, which most have AC. Dinner at night has been an experience, lots of Gambian food (spicy). Some frogs (field Chicken is the translation) and Lamb BBQ, AMAZING cucumber salad thing (sorry mom), lots of pork, c abbage, tofu, potatoes, eggplant, and then opf course theres pizza!! We went to Jazzy Pizza lastnight(http://www.jazzypizza.com/web/index.asp) which was actually really good pizza. It was right next door to Taco Food, a restaurant I was told to stay away from (nothing like Mexican tacos). After dinner we went walking down Jing Tau Lu, which is a pretty busy street, full of shops (Usual western fare, shoes stores, Old Navy look likes, GAP duplicates and so on). Massive buildings, lots of lights (will get pictures latter). The streets in Fuzhou are always busy, people on bikes, scooters or walking on the sidewalk, plus the occasional cat, dog or cockroach walking along side of you as well.

Good bye for now!
