We walked into a place with a few gutted lambs hanging by the door. Xiang Yi was unable to communicate with fellow Chinese as they speak Urghur and Mandarin with a VERY thick accent. In any case, we managed to order food. It was delicious!

We took a cable car up to the lake, and then we hike along marked trails. Lots of fresh snow, but no accidents to report--which is amazing considering how clumsy I am!

Since Tianchi lake has been upgrade to official tourist side (hence the tv screen), gers have been pushed back to make room for trinket shops and a stage where some locals dress up and perform some local dances.

We had some kabobs and beer-AGAIN! Because China only has one time zone, it doesn't get dark here until 10:30 at night!
