this is Sibirean larch (Larix Sibirica). Lake Kanas is part of the Sibirian eco-system

since in winter the locals go to the desert then there are cammels here. unsusual setting for a camel to be at. cammels here have 2 humps

we climbed to a place called Guanyu Pavilion (1001 septs to the top) to see the views

excellent festival pictuers!
I especialy liked the girls on the rock! too bad you put the deset pictures first. Lake Kanas is the highlight.
