As Andy has to work tomorrow morning, today we took the boys to Tianjin's Polar Ocean World for Matthew's birthday. From past experience from living in Ghana, West Africa, we was not to sure what we were going to find as sometimes pictures are very different to the real thing!! But we were pleasantly surprised. It was a lovely place once we managed to get there, taxi's do not quite know this place but we got there in the end thanks to our lovely Chinese friend who translated for us via phone!!

It was a lovely building in the shape of a shark. It was a little expensive to get in but the boys really enjoyed it and there was lots to see. We entered a shark tunnel and William got the fright of his life when he turned around to look at the other side and was faced with a diver in the tank!!! We saw polar bears, whales, penguins and sharks.

We are going to surprise the boys tonight with having MacDonalds being delivered to our apartment for a special tea. Then tomorrow I am going to try and decorate a chocolate birthday cake - my cooking skills are not great!! I am sure it will be yummy!

The weather today is lovely and warm, no coats or jumpers needed and the sun is shining but it is a little moggy. The staff have been busy spring cleaning again and planting new plants and refilling the waterfall area......spring is here I think!! Yay and may it last!
