Just a few snapshots from our neighborhood and daily routine. We live in the Hexi district of Tianjin which is just a regular residential neighborhood.

This is the canal that runs along the main street in our neighborhood. It is very green. There is a park that runs alongside it where people hang out with their dogs and sing and do tai chi.

We saw some kids using this playground equipment the other day, but it seems to be mainly for old people to use when they do their "exercises"

We can buy a lot of our food from these windows. Bo was trying to get the abacus that they use to calculate the price in the photo.

These chickens are unrelated to the previous 2 photos of chickens. They live in our neighborhood, usually hanging out on the sidewalk in front of the pharmacy
