Along the old street

In the distance, you can see some new buildings. They were re-building some of the shops and they had begun to construct a new string of stores (I think to get ready for the Expo).

Can't be...even cheaper than a dollar store???

Fabric Market

L-R: Me, Genelle, Store Owner, Owner's daughter-in-law, tailor. Our new coats! I ordered a black cashmere wool coat. Unfortunately, you can't see the full coat in this picture...I'm really glad with the way it turned out.

The Boxing Cat

A brew-pub established by a Canadian! We met the owner and he's from Markham, ON! (he's Chinese, but I think he might be Canadian-born because he doesn't speak with a Chinese accent at all). It's quite impressive that he's probably only in his mid-late 20's and he already has 2 locations of this restaurant here in Shanghai. Anyway, I tried their Thanksgiving brew--Pumpkin Ale...!

Smells a little bit more like Christmas!

apple-cinnamon tealights from IKEA! They make my room smell and look a little more festive.
