We were happy to welcome our first overnight guest - Kevin Dean - a couple of weeks ago. Kevin was over on business, and we were lucky enough to get him for a night upon his arrival from his week in southern China. We had a great time catching up and seeing a bit of Shanghai with him before he became violently ill! (It might have been the flu, or maybe the unidentified "seafood" he had before arriving here??)
Then this past week were
very happy to welcome Joe Lupone. (Sorry, no pictures!) It was just like old times. Joe gets a gold star for bringing tampons for me that actually made for an embarrassing story at the airport. Thanks Joe! (And thanks Tracy!)
It was really great to see both of them, as it felt like a little slice of home.
Next time guys…bring lovely your wives!

Dear Sally, Your blog is great and I will get Hanna on it this weekend to check it out and "explore" with you and your family! How is it going? How are your kids doing? I actually have a tentative trip planned to Asia for Timex is September (no firm dates yet) and I would visit Hong Kong, China and Shanghai for a trade show. I'll keep you posted and would love to look you up if it all materializes. Wer'e still adjusting to the move from Rochester and still missing our friends there. Hanna and Hayes both joined the local soccer program for the Spring season and that has gotten us out and meeting new people. I guess it all takes time and I would imagine that you feel like you have made a radical move? What's the deal with tampons? Enjoy the adventure and thanks for sharing it all on your blog. Regards, Margaret Gregory
