The must see sight in the city I lived in for a couple months, these figures from the 3rd century B.C. were discovered in 1974 by local farmers. The man still hangs out at the site, signing books and milking every last dollar out of his discovery. He apparently was paid next to nothing for his discovery, though, and his farmland was taken by the government. It's another world heritage site, named in 1987. The warriors were constructed to cover the tomb of the first Qin Emperor.
