Phew! What a week!!! The weather turned cold, we had a delegations of teachers here from Sweden (as you already know), another large group of important people were at our school, the Bank of China lost our money, and then it poured for two days!!! LOL thank goodness every week isn't like this or I'd be back in Canada by now. I'm incredibly thankful that both Jean and I have good senses of humour, and that we can laugh our way through most tough days. And here we are, on the other side, thankful we're still in China😊
We went to the Bank of China today, and they are finally taking us seriously, and are searching for our money. They had received confirmation from Canada that the money had arrived, but I showed them a copy of my account printed today that says it's not there. So they're looking for it, we are supposed to have an answer today by 3pm. Pray!!! We'll keep you posted.
On the weekend I took Jean to that huge Market down by the river. He was amazed, just like I was. And then we kept discovering things, new areas, new malls, it was
really cool! Then we passed by this lady who had striped puppies for sale! They were black and orange striped, just like a cat, I'd never seen anything like them. It looked like they were painted, though it was real. And cheap - the lady only wanted 60Y (about $10) to start, was willing to go down from there. Wish we could have bought one... poor little things were shaking, they were so scared of all the traffic and noise...
Anyways, we're going to try and upload a couple videos with this message - these are our kids putting on demonstrations for the Swedish delegation. We enjoyed them, these kids are amazing! I hope you do too.

So glad everything is starting to work out for you two! You really deserve it! And buy one of those puppies for me, yes? I WANT ONE!!
