Scavenger Hunt

So we decided as tourists of Wuhan we needed to find all of the things we have been spotting in China that are different to our American eyes and get photo documentation. Cori created a list of things that we see everyday and have become used to seeing but are not common things to see in America. We split into two teams. I was on team HeyHeyHey (like Fat Albert) which consisted of Cori, Sarah and myself. We gave ourselves four hours to travel anywhere in Wuhan to find the long list of items. It was such a great experience I would like to share my photos with you so you can see the craziness we witness everyday and rarely bat and eye at.

here is the list:
An adult urinating in public

Underwear hanging to dry
Drinking beer in a cab with our mascot (a Ken doll) -this is legal in China
An American Flag
Liu Xiang advertising -this is the chinese olympic hurdler who advertises everything
Americans advertising
Street sweepers (bonus if a member of the team is sweeping too) -Chinese people love to sweep day and night
Fall colored leaves -most of the leaves here haven't changed
Chinglish Signs -there are so many things written in English that are not properly translated, it makes us smile

Men with purses (bonus if there isn't a girl with him) -it is so common for boyfriends to carry their girlfriends purses. it is also common for a man to carry a 'purse' sometimes their purses are very feminine (we want Nick to carry one, no luck yet)

Playing 'frogger' -our group crossing the street because there is never a time where you cross safely, cars/buses keep going on red lights so it is a miracle to get across safely
