Megan is so happy to be riding in a cab in Beijing!
July 17, 2008 We went shopping this evening. Again things change, so many upscale and rather upscale stores. We did a lot of looking - not much buying! Tomorrow evening Mr. Wan is going to try to make an appointment for us at the blind man massage hospital. He told us when we ask about massages in China we should be sure we ask for a blind man massage. He said massage has a bad name in China - that is massage are often not the type we think of, brings back memories of phone calls to our hotel in Beijing 4 years ago. Several of the youth got calls at 2 and 3 in the morning asking them if they wanted a massage! Hmmmm. Anyway all the Americans phones got turned off after that - no fun!

The photos are from July 8 while still in Beijing。 I don't know why the pictures and the entry came out together。

Massage
Can remember my first and last massage in XiXian! They used rocks and when done, my back was total bruised. The next day it was even worse. Thought it was hurting, but wow, was I ever a sight for about 7 days.
